Place the vehicle's transmission into initial gear (manual) or park (automatic). Apply the parking brake and shut down the engine.

Turn the ignition for the "ON" position but usually do not start the engine. Connect an car diagnosis tool to the vehicle's diagnostic information port (underneath the dashboard on the driver's side). Power on the scan tool and make it possible for it to start up.

Navigate towards the main menu screen on the scan tool. Select "ABS," and then choose "Codes."

Select the option to "Clear all current and stored DTCs." DTC stands for "Diagnostic Trouble Code." Wait for the scan tool to clear the codes from the ABS computer.

Disconnect the scan tool and commence the engine. Confirm that the antilock warning light is no longer on.
